About Us - The Porter Group of companies, up until October 2020, was a privately owned family business with a 30-year track record of success in gas, civil construction projects, plant & equipment hire and quarry products. To strengthen our equipment base and service, we were acquired by Kanamoto, a Japanese construction equipment rental business, who are in the top 10 rental businesses globally.

Our Prevent 360 maintenance platform has been developed with years of maintenance and contract management knowledge. The platform guides our highly skilled maintenance teams to perform maintenance to a rigid schedule and carry out 360° asset inspections when on-site. The preventative maintenance inspections have allowed us to keep the equipment reliable and minimise unplanned downtime events. Prevent 360 analytics turns maintenance and contract data into insights and insights into outcomes which assists with asset performance management.
